Equilibrium and dynamic surface properties of cationic/anionic surfactant mixtures based on alcohol ether sulfate

The equilibrium and dynamic surface properties of anionic surfactant alcohol ether sulfate with different EO distribution(C-AE2S N-AE2S) cationic tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TTAB) mixtures under molar ratios were investigated. Their activities, adsorption, spreading performances investigated by static/dynamic tension measurements, molecular dynamics simulation, contact angle techniques at 298 K. static analysis reveals that the critical micellization concentration (cmc) values cmc (γcmc) binary systems are much lower than individual component. Compared C-AE2S/TTAB, N-AE2S/TTAB have higher γcmc. It was found from simulation negative charges C-AE2S drastically neutralized positively-charged TTAB interface in system C-AE2S/TTAB. results indicate adsorption process aqueous solutions for both C-AE2S/TTAB mixed diffusion-kinetic mechanisms. From it could be obtained exhibit better behavior component angles same mixing ratios.
